2008 ELECTION INFORMATION 

The next election at Tallmadge Charter Township will be the School Elections. 

Coopersville, Kenowa Hills, and Grandville School Elections will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at the Township Hall.    The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

April 7, 2008 will be the last day to register to vote for this election if you not already registered.

Notice to all Voters
Due to a recent court ruling – every Michigan voter who attends the polls to vote must comply with the requirement to show picture identification or sign an affidavit attesting that he or she is in possession of picture identification.

Voters can satisfy the picture identification requirements by showing a Michigan driver’s license or personal identification card.  If you do not possess either documentation you may show the following forms of identification:

              * Driver’s license or personal identification issued by another state
              * Federal or state government issued photo identification
              * U.S. Passport
              * Military identification card with photo
              * Current student identification with photo
              * Tribal identification card with photo

Poll workers will check all identification for name, photo, and expiration date.
