Many of you may not know it but the Township has a very nice park. The 20+ acre park is located behind the Township Hall at O-1451 Leonard Street. The park is available year round and has walking or cross country ski trails, ponds with docks, a sand volleyball court, a basketball court, two ball fields that can also be used for soccer, tennis courts, horse shoe pits (you must have your own horse shoes). There is also a playground area for small children and there are rest rooms which are available in the summer. By Memorial Day 2004 the park will have a pavilion which will be available for picnics on a first come first serve basis.
