There has been quite a bit of building/construction activity on Lake M
ichigan Drive  between the county line (Uccellos Restaurant) and 8th Avenue.

Land and Co. has made water and sewer available for the eight new commercial lots and Phase I of their condominium project.

Also two separate Industrial Condos are being built – one off 3rd Avenue and another one just down from Standard Lumber.

Burger King will break ground in the spring with a new restaurant just west of Uccelos.

On another note the Planning Commission has adopted a new Master Plan after several public hearings within the last six months.  Not much was changed but if you are interested you may see the changes at the Township Offices or on this website.   Our Planner and Zoning Director is available on Tuesday and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
