The 2010 census has been completed and Tallmadge has grown to over 7500 residents. While growth is great, it does place added stress on services in this depressed economy. Please be aware that your Board will strive to keep the current level of services.
Have you been in the park lately? After postponing some improvements for several years, it finally became necessary to repaint the bathrooms as well as resurface the two tennis courts. The parking lot was also resurfaced, sealed and striped as well as repairs and resurfacing of walkways within the park. Next year we plan to redo the basketball area. Although the gate is now closed for the winter, the park is open all year for your walking enjoyment.
